United Way of Branch County and the United Way of Greater Battle Creek
have teamed up with

Community Unlimited to offer after-school
programming to Union City students. The after-school program, part of
the Michigan Department of Education’s, 21st Century Community Learning
Center grant, provides after-school programming to about 100 students
Monday-Friday. Students participate in various activities including
geocaching, ice-fishing and tutoring help along with a program called
a, “River Runs Through It” which combines fitness with earth science
curriculum.
